  A solid homage to its predecessor. Vintage Tim Burton.

  My only criticism would have been to have more of Danny Elfman’s score accompanying the film as opposed to random indie-rock songs that I felt were an attempt to “modernize” the film. 

  Keaton & Ryder were A+, as well as a surprising performance from Ortega, who definitely commanded her role as Astrid.
