The Secret World of Arrietty 2010
Cute feel good movie! The sound design was really good and the animation was great as expected! Not a top tier Ghibli movie but that is more of a testament to how good the other films are. Feel like this would be a nice comfort movie!

It is a given a Ghibli movie has jaw dropping visuals, and an incredible score to complement all the emotional scenes. My initial reaction was the movie was kind of random and confusing. However, thinking about how this is Hayao Miyazaki last movie most likely I think it is a pretty touching movie. The Tale of The Princess Kaguya 2013
I’ve watched a lot of anime but this probably one of the most beautifully animated movies I have seen. The palace scene when Kaguya was running genuinely took my breath away! I feel bad for Kaguya but I am sure many other women around that time and even now feel the way she does. Amazing movie, this is why I watch movies!

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2018
I have not watched the sequel yet, but hands down one of the best animated movies I have watched. I think personally Miles, is a great Spiderman and really emphasizes what it means to be a hero. Also, as someone who wishes western animation would step it up, this was amazing in almost every way visually. The action sequences are cartoony but well choreographed (by the animation team obviously). If you’re on the fence about watching it, definitely watch it! Even if you hate animation, it is an amazing Spider-Man and super hero story!
