Dear god, I was not expecting to be on the edge of my couch yelling at Joe to run to the train but here I am. I’m just going to say this movie looked and sounded phenomenal with great acting to boot. I thought it was really good but nothing insane UNTIL I got to the Christmas fake-out (WHYYYYYYY). Everything from then onwards had me absolutely entranced.

I came into this movie with extremely high expectations from A24 and they were MOSTLY met. I will say the suspense and anxiety I felt from this movie rivaled what I experienced watching Hereditary which is an extremely good sign. I also thoroughly enjoyed the extensive religious discussion throughout the first-half of the movie (which definitely was the stronger half).
