Gladiator II 2024
Over all an underwhelming experience. The movie itself is not really about gladiators, it’s about decadence- but it’s not really about that either. It’s not really about anything.
Numerous historical inaccuracies took me out of the experience(I’m a nerd so, I’m sure this won’t bother other people.)
The fight choreography is nothing special.
The costume and set design, is really the only place of this movie(excels, other then the historical inaccuracies)

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The Creator is visually spectacular. It’s clear that the visual effects team put they whole pussy into this film. The designs of the tech were visually stunning as well as creatively functional. The good things about this movie end there.
Not a single thought behind those pretty eyes. The nature of the AI? The War? The spiritual implication of living machines? Forgetta bout it.
To say this movie is pretentious while being absolutely brain dead would be apt. The movie…
