Belfast 2021
Good acting, powerful theme and action scenes. It made me cry. Enjoyed being reminded of the outfits and trimmings of the 60s. The film hit its mark re showing how violence was like in Northern Ireland for the everyday people . I think the Director had lots of people busying about in some scenes to show that everyone lived on each other’s doorstep, but they detracted from the dialogue for me.

I wasn’t itching to watch this movie but it was the best on offer on a holiday. I’m glad I watched it. Sandra Bullock was great and I felt satisfied after.

The Book Thief 2013
I read the book first and loved it. I watched the movie on a plane and cried. I wonder what the other passengers thought? The movie is authentic to the book and very well acted. I probably cried more as I knew what was coming.
