This movie is so good it should be mainstream but it’s also part of what makes it special how obscure it is.

Omg. I had no preconceptions going into this movie. Gosh, I was DELIGHTED the whole way through. What a perfect depiction of motherhood. I felt so seen. As a mother whose own children are at the phase of life where they are leaving the nest I was absolutely gutted and profoundly filled with pride and joy at the scene where she runs to the cliff’s edge to watch her “offspring” fly away and is left alone batter and glowing.
Just absolutely beautiful. A gorgeous, moving, adorable and deeply moving film.

All of humanity needs to watch this film and allow themselves to be changed by it. The evolution of Schindler to a man who values human life over wealth is stunning to witness as he witnesses the horrors of the Holocaust. Beautiful. Life changing.
