Joker: Folie à Deux 2024
Sure, a song or two definitely added to the plot. However, I don’t feel like adding half of The Great American Songbook was really necessary. Every time there was great dialogue happening it was cut short by a song starting (although I understand that may be Fleck coping with his inability to express his true feelings/emotions). Also, production value felt so much lower than the first film. It’s a shame the entire film mostly took place over 2 locations.
