i watched this on a plane while very tired and grumpy — i saw all the hype but had no idea what the movie was about so i think i just expected it to be so much more different. ruined it for myself smh but ill try to watch it again at some point

Vanilla Sky 2001
this is my favorite movie of all time. I’ve shown it so many people and everyone seems to collectively agree it’s good but they don’t get why I love it so much. If you get it you get it. Goated soundtrack - “do you wanna hear jeff buckley or vicki carr?” is an actual line in this movie with Tom Cruise. and honestly some of the most soulful acting i feel like i’ve ever seen from pretty much everyone; also, my favorite scene from any movie is in this one. gosh there is so much more i could say about this beauty
