A Real Pain 2024
Great film - not sure if I’d describe this film as a comedy but that’s not a criticism in the slightest. Culkin’s performance is very natural and you can tell he enjoyed playing that part. Eisenberg’s character is almost the polar opposite of Culkin’s and it’s great to see the two of them interact with one another. Humorous at parts and honestly pretty emotional at parts too! But all round, a very enjoyable film!

Alien: Romulus 2024
Everything you’d expect from the Alien franchise and more. Great cinematography and so many nice nods to the rest of the franchise, even Alien Isolation which I appreciated. The final 20-30 mins though… It takes a lot to scare me but I was definitely left feeling uncomfortable, along with the rest of the audience.👏🏻

Better Man 2024
Wow. Genuinely, one of the best films I’ve seen in a while. Going in, I didn’t really know what to expect (apart from Robbie Williams being replaced by an ape). However, I was surprised at how beautifully crafted the film was. Literally everything that happened had meaning/intent behind it and it had such a great flow to it. I could go on and on with more praise but just go watch it yourself, you won’t regret it. A well-deserved 5 stars👏👀
