Came for the cool steampunk-esque weapons and action, and that ended up being the only great part of the movie. This is the kind of action movie that has a cool unique gimmick and ties it in with a run-of-the-mill plot and calls it a day. They're still enjoyable to watch, but it feels like the equivalent of a TV-dinner to a home cooked meal. It should be mentioned that I was forced to watch it in Chinese subbed to English, so maybe I would have appreciated the plot more if the subtitles were any better, but I have my doubts.

Watching a Michael Bay movie is like eating fast food. You know you shouldn't do it, and that it will kill you if you do it too often, but sometimes it's really good. And it would have been really good, if Michael Bay didn't suck at making action scenes.
