We Live in Time 2024
This film is testing us. “Can you just enjoy the scene I’m currently showing you?” I admire it for practicing what it preaches. We may live linear lives, but it doesn’t feel that way really.
Some of the loveliest moments and performances. Pugh had a TASK to do and was amazing. My answer to the above question was often “not particularly” up until the carousel scene.
I’m glad we live in a world where 16 yr old boys have Tobias’ example of masculinity and loyalty to draw from!
