An easy to watch film that dramatizes an event from Mexican political culture. A time period piece that demonstrates what it was like to be a closeted prominent gay man back in the early 1900s. I believe there was no antagonist in this film as all parties involved were negatively affected in someway. I really recommend this piece if you have heard of about el baile de los 41. Event if you haven’t, it’s a great way to get interested in the topic.

Past Lives 2023
A sad but realistic tale that highlights ordinary lives in our world. I wish they would have shown more of Hae Sung’s live but I understand that we were watching it through Na Young’s perspective. The ending is bittersweet for all characters involved, including Arthur, Na Young’s husband. I recommend this film not only for its realism but for its ability to connect with the audience in understanding that not all stories have a “happy” ending. It’s a reflection of everyday life highlight that there is no one way of living.

Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio 2022
Like Del Toro said, animation is not only for children. This movie is everything. Definitely a 10/10🤩
