  A patently ridiculous premise, a dizzying pace, painfully outdated dialog, and some of the silliest set pieces ever made. I had a lot of fun!

  The Last Dragon 1985

  "Why don't anybody who wants me to sit down and shut up come down here and make me?"

  This is a pretty impressive mix of style and silliness. It's fun from start to finish and the music is awesome.

  This is such a surreal and ultimately very sweet film that I kind of can't believe isn't more widely/easily available to watch. This is a much softer experience than I've come to expect from Miike and I enjoyed most everything about it. The real highlight for me was Renji Ishibashi's performance.   "Do it, Doug!"

  London and Forlani really hurt this film a lot. Neither are very good actors but more importantly, they do not fit into Smith's world at all. This is also the worst script of the Askewniverse films but a charming supporting cast and the titular setting make up for a lot of the shortcomings.
