Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
I always joke that I avoid watching certain Scorsese movies because the world has enough movies about New York Italian gangsters. The setting was different here but the bones of the gangster narrative is the same. Just not my kind of movie. Happy to see indigenous representation but I wish it focused on their perspective and we felt their devastation more directly. This movie would have slayed if it took a mystery approach and we discovered who the murderers were alongside the Osage.
