  🎀 go ! princess precure 

  this easily rose in the ranks for me because i adore anything involving princesses and it’s just so enjoyable. i remember watching the first episode years ago and instantly knowing that i would fall in love. precure is so easy to enjoy and the characters are very loveable. even if this isn’t your fave precure, there’s no room to dislike it when everything about it is sweet.
  
  
  the quality of animation is noticeable too. it’s so smooth and near flawless, along with quality characters and an interesting plot. definitely worth watching.

  🩰 the nutcracker

  the nutcracker will always be one of my winter faves. it’s a classic and so timeless, but this particular version stood out to me all thanks to the sugar plum fairy !

  miyako was so lovely and she really did the role justice. such a beautiful choice for this position and she was so captivating to watch. i could only dream of playing a role as adorably elegant as her.

  🎠 sleeping beauty 

  as a lover of everything fairytale, i stumbled upon this movie purely by mistake and was mortified by what i witnessed. while the name is ‘sleeping beauty’ it was an utter disgrace to the beloved classic (though i know it was very clearly not trying to be a fairytale). it was definitely a fault on my part for watching this. i didn’t watch it in it’s entirety but i saw enough to establish an opinion.
