It also explores our perception of pleasure and how it can be internally or externally influenced in one way or the other. Um… why is this such a beloved movie??? It’s about a controlling narcissist who gets to create a perfect life for himself by manipulating women and not once does he get called out for it. I could go into detail about so many different things I hate about this movie, but the more I think about it the more it pisses me off so I’m going to avoid that headache and just say fuck this movie.
