Barbie in the Pink Shoes 2013
not as bad as i was expecting but still not very good for a barbie movie. message was essentially “don’t let people control you” which is good on its own but it was conveyed by barbie’s character being ridiculed for freestyling while performing a choreographed ballet piece, like if she wants to freestyle she needs to do it in her free time or not be a ballerina?? ballet is an extremely disciplined sport, it’s not something just for fun. barbie also had hideous bangs in the movie and was really dumb. i liked the goofy men though, especially hilarion

i’ve seen every single conjuring/conjuring affiliate movie and i think this one is the best by far. idk why this movie got so much shit when it came out. the only reason i can think of is that it wasn’t scary, but really none of the conjuring movies are. i suppose the original nun is the scariest of all, but i’m more invested in the story than the scares and i felt this one had the best story. the pacing…
