the issue is that this movie needed to take it self more seriously because the fights look so good and the mechs and monsters look great but god ever bit of dialogue is insufferable and the plot loses its value when the alien plot happens, just so lame as soon as anyone talks. gruesome fights tho holy shit.

His Three Daughters 2023
a very good movie that really does have some powerful moments and although not my absolute favorite family drama movie, it is so real. i love rachel and her character which i think is the focus of the movie despite there being three main characters, because she is the most obviously misunderstood but also the one the viewer gets to spend time with. she is the only character to take us outside the setting, and the only character to bring in an outside character other than in phone call. i loved it, great dialogue, great camera work, beautiful movie
