Without a doubt, one of the finest adaptations of Bram Stoker’s work and the one that most closely echoes F.W. Murnau’s 1922 version. The entire cast shines, with Lily-Rose Depp being a standout and an absolute revelation. Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok is unrecognizable and genuinely terrifying. If you’re a fan of the genre, don’t miss it.

    ★★★★★

Challengers stands out for its fresh and daring approach, offering an experience that might not appeal to all viewers but is undoubtedly worth exploring. The cast is exceptional, with a standout performance from Josh O’Connor, who brings great emotional depth to his complex character. Zendaya also shines as Tashi, a multifaceted character who uses sex strategically to influence the dynamics between her husband and ex-boyfriend, both tennis players locked in an intense rivalry. Additionally, the score is excellent, blending creatively to heighten the tensions and most impactful moments of the story. Overall, Challengers establishes itself as a fresh and unmissable offering.
