I look like the bad guys in this movie, and that bothers me.

Wrath of Man 2021
One of the few pandemic era movies that didn’t make me hope COVID would wipe out human existence.
Straight forward action/shooter. I was entertained from beginning to end. The plot doesn’t really matter, and there is absolutely no connection or sympathy for any of the characters, but the big heavy action sequence at the end was very fun.
Outside of Statham and Eddie Marsan, I didn’t get that typical Guy Ritchie tone from this one. The score was emoting a…

This movie is terrible from beginning to end, so I’ll just comment on one scene that stood out as one of the dumbest.
Why, when escaping Jason Mantzoukas’ hideout, would one person stay behind to hold off the bad guys, when they are using an unaccessible elevator to get away? And why did the man sacrificing himself use hatchets to fight a heavily armed group of bad guys when Mantzoukas opened a room full of guns for him to use?
Weirdly specific call-out, but the point is, this movie is awful.
