  I started religiously watching SNL over a decade ago as a teenager. I remember huddling in front of my laptop in 2015 watching a poor quality livestream of the 40th anniversary special, absolutely overwhelmed with excitement, but only having a few years’ worth of episodes under my belt I still didn’t know or appreciate a lot of the show’s deeper history.
