Theif is one of the greatest films of the genre I will call C.L.E.A.B.A.S (Cool Loner Efficient At Bad-Ass Shit). "Bad-Ass Shit" being heisting (Thief), killing (John Wick/The Professional), driving good (Drive), bomb-disarming (Hurt Locker), etc, etc.

The Long Good Friday 1980
Absolute bone-melting, alpha, silverback gorilla energy from Bob Hoskins in this movie. He easily solidified himself as one of the all-time coolest and most authentic "tough guys" ever to be depicted on film. His intimidating gravitas emanates off the screen and is amplified many times over by his Cockney accent and balding, short-kingedness.

Watched first ep, had to IMDB the guy who plays Rodrigues cuz of how much he sucks in whatever I see him in. Nestor Carbonell. That guy is awful and this show lame.
