    Spotlight is an amazingly well-written film that compels the viewer to reflect on issues of justice, accountability, and the systematic corruption that occurs unnoticed. Based on real events, this film truly serves as a distinct reminder that this broken world needs people of integrity and courage to face the difficult realities that we may all come across. With its deliberate pacing and direction, the film allows for the story to unfold in an anticipating and tense manner. Ruffalo’s acting as well as Tom McCarthy’s direction is highly commendable and methodical.
