The tension is found in the cycle of desperation leading to a flimsy, flammable hope and a subsequent grinding erosion of a character’s faith… where will they find the will to go on in a world that is now shrouded in black? The Girl’s survival instinct to flee battles against the hope that emboldens her to stand her ground - and the result is thrilling.

  Despite its excellent premise I found this to be a rather bland and unimaginative film that’s smugness was palpable. No great film skips 5 years in the last ten minutes to rush to its nodded conclusion. Lovely addition of the raped and martyred addict female lead, enjoyed all of her 14 lines!
