i fell in love with labs kita for how it has always been so much more than a cheesy romcom. despite being known for its iconic Oh Yes line and melodramatic confrontation scenes, it has always struck me as a very sincere movie about youth and art and family. it feels so so so right that i feel the same way about this movie, with all its comedic references and nostalgia trip moments it finds its way to something real…

such a gorgeous deconstruction of the belief that a marriage is a union of purities, and anything other than that is an absolute unacceptable. but what even is pure? at the end of it all they’re still both wearing white. “hindi ko alam kung anong mangyayari satin, pero alam kong mahal kita, at pwede tayong magsimula dun.” mesmerizing!!!!!!
