ICE was formed after 9/11 happened & they are a rogue agency that violates human rights and separates families. they've been found to trick and lie to people in order to enter their homes without a proper warrant + detain them, and the conditions of the detention centers are inhumane, to say the least.
Know your rights - DMV resources - abolish ICE.
there's something to be said about being 18 years old the first time I watched this (takeaways being some surface comments on overall themes and that Luisa was hot), and 28 upon the second watch (takeaway being that this was devastating, bittersweet, intimate, like holding something beautiful and knowing that it's fleeting - and that's precisely what makes it so beautiful)
i like what this represents societally but the comedy was not comedying🙈
