Godzilla Minus One 2023
honestly this is my favorite movie of the year and possibly one of my favorites of all time just after my first watch. I went into this movie with no expectations, if anything I just thought it would be an exciting and fun watch. I left the theater deeply moved by the story. I was shocked to see with the $15 million budget they were able to make this movie look better and feel bigger than these hundreds of millions…

Leave the World Behind 2023
the story dragged a bit and by the time the big reveal happened, I was over it. for me, the writing wasn’t strong enough and it came across as a little try hard trying to force interesting cinematography with no purpose and bad cgi. the music was great though.
it seemed like a movie that spent most of its budget on the cast. I’m honestly surprised Julia Roberts signed on to this. I wouldn’t say the movie was straight up bad, just very mid to me.Translated from by
