it’s so funny that Ben Shapiro watched this and his main takeaway was (annoying voice) “wow… this movie is seriously disparaging of the free market economy, folks.”
this is a beautiful film. A story about the limitations of redemption, how no man is ever truly forgiven his wrongdoings, even if he should succeed in changing for the better.

This is the best movie ever made. Leo DiCaprio loves trees and fish. Timothee Chalamet is the next DDL. I want to h*ve s*x with Jennifer Lawrence. 5 stars.
You watch just about half of this film and enjoy it kind of, you’ve laughed a few times, it’s stupid, but it’s funny. And then Seth Rogen reminds you that indeed he is still terrible, and dutifully ensures that the second half of this film is so utterly shit and lazy and bereft of enjoyment, only to set up the true purpose of this film — to humiliate you, the viewer, for trusting him. The last five minutes is Rogen…
