Watched this with my family this year and my mam laughed when it cut to Tiny Tim's empty chair with his cane and hat... Anyways, evilness aside, perfect movie.

Genuinely astounding how well this movie holds up. No matter what horrible acts the monster commits, it's hard to feel anything other than sympathy for him when he's ultimately defeated. Also the "It's alive!" scene still gives me goosebumps.
