Very good. You can feel the darkness and the despair. The film isn't a perfect historical depiction (obviously, it's a vampire film), but nonetheless it's super immersion.
I really liked it. The acting, the soundtrack, the storytelling...

    Would watch again!

4/5 because the original is unbeatable.

Directing is essentially knowing how to tell a story. And Almodovar told a great story impeccably. Intense acting by everyone, and great dialogues made for an "uneventful" yet thrilling film. It felt like... suspense? Somewhere during the film, I felt I was watching horror movie. Discomforting. Great.

Not to speak about the explicit messages it brings, which make you think, the film also makes you feel.

Oh yeah, and let's not forget Almodovars usual colors, scenario, and hidden messages with deep meanings. The implicit was, to me, more impactful than the explicit.

    Cathartic ahh film.

Bad movie. Predictable and forcing jokes, that begin to irritate once they take away some potentially truthful moments of the story.
I also don't like Ryan Reynolds, but like, in general, so idk if it counts.

Boring and unoriginal. How many more times will Marvel insist on "multiple time lines" just to force unmatching characters crossovers.

Oh, and by the way, to all the big companies: making jokes about your problematic marketing strategies doesn't make it any better. You are still the assholes, and that's just a blatant attempt of cleaning the brand's name.
