The way this was filmed is just so beautiful to me. When they dream and it has the inconsistent frames with the consistent audio, it adds an eerie feeling that I really like in movies. The scenery and setting in every frame is somewhat nostalgic, the contrast between that and the events occurring makes for a fascinating rollercoaster of empathy, disgust, adoration, and admiration of the detail put into the background. The camera captured the mom’s crazy fit in a beautifully terrifying way that scarred me! I was visibly in awe the entire movie.
