Beautiful story with a tragedy. Parents never being able to hear their daughters singing. It’s striking.

Study on deaf communities and how hearing folks see them. Role of a child with major responsibilities.

Feel good film, David and Goliath story. Tells the American story. What it’s like to be a small town- their ambition, values, challenges, struggles, and pride.

Didn’t know Gene Hackman was the lead. RIP.
