The Shack 2017
A charming, albeit on the nose, story about using religion to overcome grief.
My biggest complaint is that it feels so much more like Christian fanfiction than other Christian movies do. It pays so much fan service to the bible fandom in a heavyhanded way.
I tried to read the book at one point and couldn't suspend my disbelief enough to get into it, but the movie does a much better job imo of inviting me in and taking it at face value.
