Once again Toho delivers! This time is truly special. (one tiny spoiler mention about the opening, *found at bottom)

We have a thorough, well thought out, deeply emotional, and consistently great story with humans. Not only that, but it's a community, the people, the strength to fight not only your own war, but the one that threatens all those around you and to live on top of that.
This has the best story, it touched my heart all the way…

"Why're you chasing me?!" "Why you running!?" Hilarious moment.
William Friedkin, "You're beautiful." Hands down one of the best films I've ever seen. Amazing soundtrack that sweeps you off your feetwith rock n roll and intense fear and exhilarating excitement. It's got everything I love in a crime thriller buddy cop story.

    Burbank AMC16 - DCP
Worth the watch, and a consistent pacing.
There was a guy who'd check his phone repeatedly during the last 3rd of the movie and after the movie, the guy was saying he was happy "the woke girl" was killed in a creative way. That guy was probably the creepiest and dumbest part of the movie for me for how weird and annoying he went about it. But I digress, the movie has great cinematography, and great makeup effects.
