Malignant 2021
When I first watched this, I thought it was extremely cheesy and somewhat confusing.
Towards the end I was thrilled I stuck with it-- some of the camera shots are unforgettable. It was clear whoever directed and edited this film did so with passion and a keen eye. That said, the dialogue was simplistic and invoked a sense of cringe, especially when in relation to the male detective.
If you're a fan of horror, watch this.

The monsters are spectacular, really inventive character building. It was pretty cheesy as a long time horror fan, and I almost turned it off by how plain the dialogue and setup was on the first episode, but I genuinely enjoyed it once it picked up and am glad I continued.
Additionally, either the dialogue improved tremendously further on into the series, or the actors were quite versatile and skilled, but I felt extremely touched to the point of tears at times. There was a moment especially in which I truly felt the genuine despair, Cha Jin-Ok crying with the children in the bathroom...heartbreaking.
