The Batman 2022
Liked this film enough that I didn’t even notice the occasional slow pacing that others were telling me about. Pattinson makes a surprisingly compelling protagonist as both the gravelly, righteous hero of Batman and the angsty forever teenager of Bruce Wayne. Less satisfied with Catwoman and Alfred. I enjoyed the buddy-cop element with Gordon, the borderline Redditor and underused villain of the Riddler and the thematic consistency of the grimdark Gotham, which Batman shows genuine investment in. Looking forward to a sequel!
