  This is the real shit!

  In a league with the greatest of the "heroic bloodshed pictures". Filtered through the ultra violent Indonesian action pictures of Gareth Evans by way of a Peter Jackson splatter picture. Wonderfully simplistic in its approach narratively. This is raw nerve, bare and broken bone entertainment. Not for all tastes. For me however, it ranks with the best of the "sleep over pictures" of my youth. Films like "Commando", "Hard Boiled", "A Better Tomorrow 2", etc.…

  I missed this film in cinemas and holy shit what a mistake. This is the R rated, DePalma-Verhoeven directed Black Widow adaptation I’ve always wanted. We just don’t get enough A - list exploitation pictures. I had a blast watching this!
