  What a fun slasher flic, a return to form to cheesy, gory, intentionally-relying-on-cliches-for-humor comedy horror. Give it a watch, I’m sure it’ll get a laugh or two out of you. Definitely nothing that’ll blow your mind, but it made me realize how much I miss these FUN horror movies.

  Fun little rom-com with a great singing+piano cover of Maneater— a song which I am a diehard fan of. 

  Nothing special or defining, but romantic comedies either hit their mark or do not. This one did, and the bittersweet ending is great.

  Although I must say I am not a big fan of the “underground viral marketing” campaign used. It was definitely effective and done well (I dare say tastefully, but with my inherent bias I refuse to commit to…

  Barbie 2023

  Gerwig and Baumbach; Margot, Simu, Ryan, MICHAEL CERA. Enormously fun movie. Will Ferrell is a crack up as always. Highly recommend if you like movies like The Truman Show, Lego Movie, and other meta commentaries disguised as a completely different premise and context. 

  Great cast, great plot. The blend of reality with that pure imaginative narrative we used to be capable of as children is artfully and masterfully done.
