so disgusting, so romantic!!!
the original nosferatu is still fresh in my mind from a recent re-watch, and this iteration truly does feel like a heartfelt homage to it. (although i'm devastated that the townspeople didn’t pelt rocks at knock in this, too). the cinematography was a feast for the eyes, with every light and shadow seeming meticulously designed. it's so refreshing when a director knows how to shoot scenes in the dark.
i know some have said it drags, but that wasn't the case for me at all. i was completely enthralled from start to finish. i need to see it again.
