Blatant rip-off of many ideas from far superior movies. Don‘t mind the overly simplistic story and stupid acting but all together it‘s just an insult. And what‘s with the music? It‘s so awfully generic. On the plus side, there are a few sadistically funny kills and the movie is not boring.

The Artifice Girl 2022
Wow, don’t get fooled by the rather generic poster as I too was expecting a disappointing budget sci-fi flick. I was so wrong. This has got to be the most accurate and intelligent depiction of the current development of AI. The plot is almost 100% dialogue but it‘s done in a way that‘s so engaging and smart. Unbelievable. Besides the fantastic conversations, Tatum Mathews‘ performance is breathtaking and hard to believe it‘s real. Which in itself is a scary metaphor for the story. If you want something to stimulate your grey mass, go watch this movie!

Avatar: The Way of Water 2022
Grand expectations were met, if you loved the first one you will love Way of Water as much. Watching it in 3D HFR is again an incredibly immersive experience with jaw-dropping effects. You can almost touch and feel it. We need a bigger screen! The story is very similar, almost too close to the original but still works with the new environment the characters are forced into. The runtime is crazy but never felt a second too long. Perfect escapism.
