Part romance, part coming of age, part horror and all heart. This unusual gem leads you on a seductive journey filled with tender and grotesque moments. You feel for the emotional and physical pains both characters go through as they navigate their relationship. There's an underlying tension and hope that they'll evolve just enough to love each other.

Men, Women & Children 2014
A compelling examination of what it's like navigating relationships in the digital age. Jason Reitman's ambitious multi-story narrative is far from perfect but it captures a fundamental truth about how disconnected we've become to each other as we've become more connected to our technologies.

Snowpiercer 2013
This film moves with the frantic urgency of the non-stop train it depicts. A metaphor for a doomed civilization, the train teeters precariously on the rails as it punches through massive snowdrifts while the inhabitants struggle amongst each other to maintain balance in a closed ecosystem. I found myself rallying behind the hopes of the tail-end class as they attempt to takeover the train from their front-end oppressors. The uncertainty and unexpected twists and turns keeps you on the edge of your seat for the entire journey.
