2001: A Space Odyssey 1968
Today I had the pleasure of being able to see this masterpiece in 70mm thanks to the wonderful people at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago. The projectionists were amazingly able to properly present the opening sequence, and of course, the 70mm print itself was stunning.
Afterwards, I have come to realize that viewing this on the biggest screen possible and with the sound played at an incredible level is the only acceptable way of experiencing this film.
