  i can appreciate a good underdog story… but this is still the definition of a 3 star film. it’s a good watch, but nothing offensively bad or impressively good about it.

  Watching this is like watching a trainwreck you just can’t look away from. More than anything, I felt… uncomfortable. The world is cruel. And this family is too!

  Once I accepted the truth of the film, an unrelenting depiction of a dysfunctional family, it became more of an enjoyable experience, especially as all paths collided in the third act However, this is definitely not a cozy (or even funny) holiday classic I’ll be going back to.
