It was overall good, there's nothing I really disliked. The only thing is that i was waiting for something big to happen and it never really did, but the everyday quite of storytelling is unsettling when you know what happened, which is really interesting. The acting was amazing. The victim was brillantly play as well as the groomer. And some really good shots in there too.

Ce film n'était pas du tout ce que je m'attendais.je m'attendais à une comédie un peu bof et au final j'ai vu une belle histoire sur un homme qui retourne au château ou il a rencontré ça femme pour faire son deuil et qui redonne vie à ce lieu mort. Les personnes étaient vraiment touchant et l'histoire super mimi. Et puis John Malkovich est iconique.

Même si le film ne reste pas fidèle à l'œuvre original, il est absolument sublime. J'ai apprécié l'air de modernité donné a ce film. Il capture complètement l'atmosphère romantique de montecristo avec les beau paysages et les costumes sublimes. Pierre Niney est parfait dans son rôle et Laurent Lafitte incarne le procureur magnifiquement, il est détestable.

The shots were amazing, we got to be the ball and the ground !!!!!!! The visual are stunning, from the colors to the composition and i love a the little details. Also great acting and story. I love that everyone understand the movie differently and has different opinions on the characters. I wasn't bored for a second, and I will re-watch it.
