    It sure is a wonder what some well-shot action can do to elevate something from thoroughly below average to being kinda fun. Now if only they could fix that horrendously ugly shallow depth of field we might actually be cooking with something here...

    I can't help but feel like the tone is kinda misguided here. Why are we going for sappy emotionality with a premise like this? Give me Crank! The kids need to have their own Crank.
