this movie was like a dream. the visuals were like watching a Disney film but better and more dreamlike. i love that coppola doesn’t try to teach a history lesson nor does she want you to sympathize with the greedy aristocrats, she is just telling a story of a woman and her extravagant lifestyle that leads to her own demise.
