I am the type of person to has to physically remove my gaze from the screen when I am bombarded with extreme awkwardness.
This movie gave no mercy.
Love the movie otherwise, if not just for the fact that Woody Harrelson is in it. Hailee Steinfeld almost tops her character's cringe in 'Pitch Perfect Two,' but nothing will be able to conquer singing a not-real song during the best riff-off ever :'(

One of my favorite movies throughout my childhood and adulthood. I can appreciate the use of short, influential flashbacks of Jim's childhood along with every song choice in this soundtrack. Maybe it's the fact that I relate to the family dynamics in this movie but still, I feel this is a great movie to introduce complicated relationships and the potential obstacles a person can face, to a younger audience.
They don't make movies like this anymore.
