Feels weird to even rate this as a film. But as someone who’s listened to this Daft Punk album a couple of times, and used to see the One More Time video on telly all the time as a kid, it was fairly fun to experience this. Should be done from artists more often.
Was a few times I zoned out but the story wasn’t too bad. The animation is super cool and it enriches the album significantly.

One of my favourite films growing up and was curious if I still felt the same today. Scarface is one of the best gangster movies ever made. And one of the best rise and fall stories ever made. And with one of the greatest movie characters of all time. What a film.

Arrival is a film you will vividly remember whenever you go to rewatch. For my second viewing I initially thought I was going to like this less, but that ending still hits so powerfully.
The score that’s used in Shutter Island is used at the start and end here and without fail hits you in your bones. Amy Adams is great and Denis Villeneuve hits us with a reveal that feels so emotionally resonant. A great film about the essence of humanity and it’s also one of the best films made for language lovers.

Writing this review now as I don’t want to be beaten by a film. But Anora has me completely lost. The last few minutes really does pack a punch and provokes so many thoughts. I can tell this is gonna stay with me for a while which must be a good thing, but I have no clue where I’ll land on this.
