As hard as necessary to watch.

Very moving to realize how, in a situation like that, they thought cinema could be the way to speak louder and clearer.

Sounds weird to say, but the movie itself is beautiful, editing and all, and that’s a measure of their courage as artists, as well as human beings.

One of the most important movie of the year. After the credits, the silence was roaring.

Well I’ve been twisting to the sun and the moon
    I needed to replace
The fountain in the front yard is rusted out
    All my love was down
    In a frozen ground

Watched this with my gf, who didn't particularly enjoy it. Started to be suspicious of her for this very reason.
She's in the bathroom right now. I hear weird noises coming. She's usually not crazy. So now what? I'll probably just wait her outside the door, standing, ready to confront her.
Who da fuck are you, woman, i'll ask.
And then I'll count to three, waiting for a hint of clarity. Like: this movie was awesome. And if I won't get it, well, that's how I'll know for sure. And that's why I will burn her stupid ass to the ground.

Went in full of expectations, had to wait more than one hour to see an interesting character finally enter the room, just to watch the director cutting him out of the frame in the main scene.

How can I relate to people I know nothing about? All we see is two strangers making small talk. That gives us nothing. To me, those are not "significant silences". It's just lazy writing.

Everything is explicit and there's no subtext. Now picture this:…
