Civil War 2024
Don't know what I expected tbh but tbf I can kinda get behind not trying to come up with the hypothetical ideological and cultural lines a civil war could be drawn over.
I thought it was. A little too hyped up on journalists and that kinda "wow journalism is so important and they're so impartial all the time" sort of stuff. Tbh though it depicts them as kinda thrill seekers and psychos which I guess you kinda need to be.…

The Boy and the Heron 2023
Found it moving and really gripping. Very beautiful film and enjoyed the wonder and world building. I liked it much much more that spirited Away which I think is my main comparison. Would definitely watch again.
